Cloud 9 Fire Department
The Fire Dept. has been providing mutual aid for other fire departments and has had to upgrade some equipment. We had to purchase a new HPX Vanguard Portable Pump for $3380 due to our other pump and motor being over loaded. If any one would like to donate to the C9R Fire Department it would be greatly appreciated.

Help us and join the PARC (Preservation and Restoration Crew)
Several of our board of directors, and other dedicated owners, organized several volunteer preservation and restoration projects for the coming months while there is less activity on the Ranch. These volunteer crews have no affiliation to a committee or club, none have officers or attempt to generate funds (although they do accept donations for specific projects). If you have an idea for a project not listed and are willing to organize it, or interested in information on approved projects, call our Ranch Manager Greg Watts or email him at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Projects in Progress
- LOVE HOLE AREA – This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it -- All materials donated by Larry Armstrong. Barricades are up, thanks to volunteers Larry (organizer), Joe, Greg and a few supervisors. From this point it’s less than 50 steps to the water’s edge. Preserving a unique scenic area for future generations.
- C9R “LODGE” RENTAL – Marie Pilkinton (501-691-0267) -- Some of the items on the wish list have been donated. Taking bids on flooring. Any installer/owners wanting to place a bid or donate flooring, please contact Marie. Thanks to some great donations, Wish List is down to 2 queen beds (good condition, please)
- MINI-GOLF-WALK/PARKING – James Marshall -- Weather has been a problem. Dirt removed to make the walkway was hauled from this area to the helipad to fill in wash-out area. Hopefully weather will cooperate and this will be another finished project very soon.
- COLD/BAT CAVE AREAS - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it -- Dawn delayed a trip home to Texas this week so she could be here to get this project underway (weather permitting). She has been to the area several times with other owners getting ideas and planning how to restore and preserve this area for future generations. Work will probably begin this week. Contact Dawn via email for updates, comments and questions.
Projects Starting Soon
- GUN RANGE - Mag Greig
- SPRING LANE FALLS AREA – Larry Armstrong
Once you work with one of these groups, you’ll find that its contagious and you may catch PARC fever. These projects are a perfect opportunity for Ranch owners and their families (especially those who live locally) to take a more active role in the restoration/preservation of our Ranch’s unique scenic areas. If you have a skill/products/items or time to donate, please contact the Ranch Office or one of the people above.
