Where else in the world can you do ride your ATV like this?
At Cloud 9 Ranch Club, ATVs or all-terrain-vehicles* are the preferred mode of travel. Over half of our members own an ATV, "Side-by-Side" (UTV) or Golf Cart. And it is not uncommon to see a groups of four or five couples-including many seniors-riding not only the miles of paved roads between Cloud 9's five campsites but also cruising more than 100 miles of our 139 well-maintained and marked wooded trails.
ATV* riding is so popular at Cloud 9 Ranch that on the summer holidays we sponsor "Poker Runs" sponsered by "The Ranch Riders Club", which owners and their guests pay into. Hundreds of riders line up their "rides" in a truly awe-inspiring fashion bumper-to-bumper until the start. Each ATV'er travels at their own pace over easy-to-negotialte trails, picking up poker cards from officaials at designated points along the trail. Its not how fast you complete the course, but the one with the best poker hand along the way. And the winner takes half the total entry fee-sometimes totalling over $500. The remaining money goes to better emergency equipment and training at Cloud 9.
Sound like fun? It is. But ATV safety and speed limits are STRICTLY inforced by our Rangers.
- Special licenses and fees also apply to all motorized off-rod units
- See Rules (Page 11 & 15) for more details on motorized off-road units
- The Ranch Riders Club is open to all members of Cloud 9
